Southeast Conservation Corps (SECC) provides impactful service opportunities for members through crew and individual placement internship programs that blend education and service while fostering connections between communities and natural landscapes. Since launching its first crew in 2013 with six local teens, SECC has expanded its reach and opportunities while maintaining its grassroots foundation and commitment to instilling pride and stewardship in its members.
Based in Chattanooga, TN, SECC engages young adults in conservation service projects throughout the southeast and operates within some of the most biologically rich forests in the eastern U.S.! As a program of Conservation Legacy, SECC is part of a broader network that includes Southwest Conservation Corps, Arizona Conservation Corps, Appalachian Conservation Corps, Conservation Corps New Mexico, Conservation Corps North Carolina, Stewards Individual Placement Program, and Ancestral Lands Conservation Corps.
Empowering young people to cultivate compassion, responsibility and life skills through community service, hard work and land stewardship.
